My mother never knew her real father but I found out his name was Victor Bilodeau who lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan around 1924 and supposedly came from Canada, Quebec area. He had a brother named Joseph who had many children and I know of one grandchild who lives in Dearborn, Michigan.

I’m so excited to find this site! How do I add her name and our names (I have 2 sibllings) to the registry?

Thanks!
Julie

I come from the G2A haplogroup on my fathers side. It orgininates from Central Asia the Near East and North Africe. There seems to be alot of relation to southern Europeans (Spanish, Italian etc.)

I am so eager to know something about the church records you mention in New France, the Jewish/spanish connection and so forth. Also I would like to know if there is any link to the Basque people of Southern France and northern spain.

Looking forward to any reply on this!
Susette

His Father was Adjuture Bilodeau, I know this is not the right spelling but I’m trying. Anyway, my grand father died when my dad Robert was 15 months old.
I am hoping I can connect to the Bilodeau ancestry from Fance. I do have a family tree started on Ancestry.com. Please let me know any thing about my ancestors. Thank you Chantal Bilodeau Costello

I’ll add it to the links, I’m just finding genealogy has taken a real back seat in most people lives lately. I’m getting very little interest any more. How is it over there?

http://www.famillesbilodeau.com
It is available in English and French and as much as possible its database is updated regularly.
So everyone is welcome to connect and do research.
